Our State of the Art Equipment
Apex uses only the latest “state of the art equipment” insuring the finest job available anywhere. Our equipment concentrates the extraction pressure with extreme force removing even the worst stains from severely soiled grout lines. With adjustable pressure from 500psi to 2000psi our equipment is suitable for large areas, tight corners and edges and as a detail tool.
At Apex we couple this cutting edge equipment with good old fashion elbow grease. Each job begins with and inspection to determine what the best cleaning solvents and solution are for your flooring and grout. We then apply the correct cleaning solvents to the areas and let it saturate the grout, loosening and dissolving the embedded material. Next, we scrub the grout lines with brushes specially designed for maximum agitation, further loosening and removing unwanted debris. Special cornering brushes may be applied as needed for hard to reach areas.
Once your floor has been thoroughly scrubbed we apply our equipment with the correct pressure settings literally sucking up all of the soil, stains and cleaning solution from the grout lines. Things to Avoid Doing!
- Vinegar and Bleach -These products are acidic and were not made to clean floors. Vinegar can damage or dull the finish and bleach can bleach out the color within the grout
- Dish Soap and other soap cleaners- Dish soap and other soap cleaners are viscous (thick and sticky) so they are not easily rinsed away. Over time the soap residue will build up and actually attract unwanted dirt and will become very difficult to remove totally. In general, household cleaners simply don’t have the capabilities to effectively get the job done and don’t properly rinse away leaving an unwanted residue.
- Muriatic and Phosphori Acids- Both are extremely aggressive chemicals and should never be used on tile or grout. Both will etch (eat away at) stone surfaces and grout and cause discoloration and erosion.
- Steel Brushes and Aggressive Scrub Pads- Both can damage and severely scratch the floor surface.
